Kabbalah, as possible it is to describe it in few words, is a collection of many writings, dealing with the deepest and hidden layers of human creation and existence according to Judaism. The aim of Kabbalah is to bring recognition and acknowledgment to the Divine presence as part of human existence,

In other words. to combine between the hidden upper worlds and lower worlds, to combine the limited and familiarized physical world, with the endless limitless universe, Kabbalah writings and text is connected tightly to the whole Torah in it’s entirety, and specially the written Torah (5 Books of Moses), the spoken Torah, The Midrash and wise tales. To a large extent can be said, that The Chassidus movement, is an actual development and progress in the use of Kabbalistic writings and provide useful tools for our daily life today and the daily life of every person. While Kabbalah reveals the ‘Razin Dauriita’ ( the Torah secrets) ,The Tanya book, (written some two hundred years ago on – by Rabbi Zalman Shenior From Ladi), reveals the’ Razin Drazin Dauriita , (Super confidential secrets of the Torah), and The Rabbi elaborate the method of Observation (Hitbonenut) and increased awareness and conciseness to G-d presence in this world.

Bringing G-dliness in to our daily life.

A person who study Kabbalah is acquiring proficiency in a variety of concepts, including Worlds, Sephiroth, Circles, Lines, Light, Vessel and so on. However, person who study the Tanya is learning how to make use of different spiritual terms and tools in his daily life. The Tanya provides the Person in the modern society a very sophisticated toolkit for dealing with different situations. Whether we are in a difficulty or crisis or at times of elation and success, the Tanya allows anyone to not only achieve a balance of mind and body, spiritual growth and development, but also and primarily target Livelihood, happiness, and feeling of pleasure from our daily life. Familiarity with these divine pleasures in life stems from withdrawing from the Infinite universe into the limited physical world , unifying endlessness with limitlessness.

By learning Tanya we bring meaning to our lives and insert G-dliness in to any moment passes.
We become a major part of creation, and partner with the creator and emulate him, becoming him, which happens every split second. The Tanya reveals the Highest spiritual part in each person, and takes you through the discovery of that part. In other words, the deeper hidden study of Torah helps a person connect to his essence, overcome the control of norms, public opinion, social pressures, and fulfill his unique potential and mission.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe, explains that our essence exceeds time and space. It is not limited in terms of human emotions or mental comprehension. It’s a point higher than we can grasp, but if the person listening to that part and allow it to shine through him, he begins to live the life of lives. Life where G-dliness penetrate to every part of our life, body and soul and gives them endless power.

Thanks to Dr. Yehiel Harari for his insights.

A significant part of our lives we work hard to sustain our life style. At a young age we are safely approaching the future who looks like a promise of riches and success.
A kind of fallacious belief that every mistake can be corrected and there’s always going to be enough time to climb the stairs to Financial Liberation and success and bring also far dreams into realization.
However, with the years going by, gradually, we start undermining ourselves and develop fear and lack of certainty in what future has in store for us.
At the same time, our natural desire for prosperity make us take more liabilities and risks in order to get there.
our hidden anxieties that joins our clear ambition for financial success, largely determine our adulthood and the path we choose to take.

to be continued….

Often times people brake due to the events of life. Other times, especially those who come out as successful and strong, feel the loss of meaning to life seeking a way out. There are also situations of ones that are doing phenomenon, wishing to be saved from uncontrollable self-esteem and excessive pride. Many times the faith in higher power led to Jewish Torah scholars request for help, blessing or good advice.

Around two hundred years ago, one of the greatest Jewish spirit of genius, Rabbi Zalman Shneor From Liadi, known also the owner of the Tanya (Baal Ha Tanya), published the collection of tips and advises he gave to those who came to him throughout the years. The Tanya which came from under his hands, as the author himself he says that the Tanya is a practical Toolbox, and a collection of solutions and signals, which are intended to help anyone to pursue a balance of soul body and mind, while dealing successfully with difficulties and internal crisis people sometimes have in there lives. The tips and advises were systematically organized based on the 4 stages of the Grove (Pardes) simplicity, trough hints, Questioning, and The hidden secrets. The tips and advises are being drown from the Pardes, at an enormous erudition and from all the Jewish book shelve. Among Tanya students, the Tanya is considered as a kind of a written Torah. On the basis of the Tanya hundreds of articles where written, who expend the ideas and concepts listed in the book. The purpose of this blog is to shine new light on certain aspects at the Tanya and it’s commentary.

Through this blog the reader can focus on personal problems which are on his mind, and so to pave the way to the ultimate connection with his soul, based on Kabbalah and the hidden side of the Torah one can achieve spiritual growth and high awareness of self. The ambitions work of this blog is to maintain our unique character which is combining in-depth and thorough study of the writings, along with the abstraction that allows anyone to log in to the ‘Grove’(Pardes) and come out stronger then ever. The approach is ‘Torah often to speaks’.

Spiritual buildings of Jewish wisdom are not only intended to a certain few or to a special time or a far place, Torah is life and it’s happening right now. The provisions and tools it provides is for any man or woman to use in the situation which they are in right now.

The Jewish History has very few stages where some very unique individuals where able to combine the width, depth and length of the Jewish thought in to a verbal or written form. These stages featured the ability of those individuals to stand the challenge of human though and to drew clearly one thought system that can make sense and explain reality.
As one of those important stages we can point the life work of Rabbi Shineor Zalman, also known as the ‘Baal Tanya’ from the town of Ladi around Poland. One of Rabbi Shineor contribution to the world is ‘The Tanya’ which was written throughout 20 years, where he gave extra attention to the smallest detail. In the book which is based on the though of Kabbalah, The ‘Baal Tanya’ analyze the components of the soul, the different forces which are working on us and he is giving us tools to be able to withstand different situations that our soul may encounter during our life time.

One of the most important motives in the Tanya, is that with the tools and observation, and the use of the power of the mind we can achieve a much better and more complete lives. Achieving theses kind of life is depending on the work we do on our Ego on the “I” that according to Freud terms leads to recognition of the G-dliness in this world.

As a basic role the Tanya points out one major cause of ‘sickness’ that we are all suffering from, and it is us, ourselves. While other books are dealing with different symptoms and issues to human suffering, The Tanya explains that a constant straggle with the ‘Ego’ by focusing and distracting the mind from the human tendency to put ourself in the center is the key to achieve release and growth.

While the Jewish ethical literature pointed out two major characters, one of the ‘righteous’ and one of the ‘wicked’, and draws a clear line between them, recognizing that we humans are in an ongoing struggle between them, led the Baal Tanya to draw the third character, ‘The Middle (Medium)’ which is the book of the Tanya hero. The Baal Tanya has recognized that the average person can not get rid of itself which means of his ‘Ego’. Even one who constantly works on the development of his spirituality , could find himself in stormy or angry moods, or fall from his spiritual level. We humans where created ‘corrupted’ and we must acknowledge it and accept it without judging ourselves and bitting on our heads. At the same time we need to keep moving on an endless path of gradually and intellectually dealing with that ‘defect’(Ego) we have.

Dealing with this human ‘defect’ is the essence of the life of every individual. This essence is being reflected by the way we build our small peace of heaven, from our complicated paths and the everyday events in our lives.

The essence is realized by overcoming daily challenges like anger, avoiding sadness, and real giving.

The Tanya is not a simple book to read, that after reading it you can put it back on the shelve. It’s a guide to life that studying it thoroughly gives us a key to wide understanding of the Torah, Kabbalah, and Jewish wisdom.

I happens to be born on the same day as ‘Baal Tanya’ which is Chay (18) of Elul and spreading his wisdom and the tools he gave us is my mission.

I want to thank my friend Dr. Yehiel Harari for sharing his wisdom.
